File consists of five business letters from Henry McKenzie written between May 1805 and September 1813, including letters to various societies describing business opportunities. May 1805 letter from written St. John's, where McKenzie talks of procuring biscuit and flour.
Consists of court proceedings of William McGillivray et al. vs. Roderick MacKenzie: "Summary of the Affairs of the late Simon McTavish Esquire of the City of Montreal.
File includes twelve documents plus bill of lading to Mackenzie, Oldham & Co. These business letters discuss importing and exporting of read, flour, molasses, sugar, rum, beef, etc., and trade with the West Indies. There is some mention of the conflict between Canada and the U.S. and how it affected business.
