Scope and content

"Architectural Drawings, 1914, 20 drawings." The archive contains working drawings and plans relating to proposed alterations and additions to the Trafalgar Institute in Montreal, including alterations and additions to the gardener's cottage, and a plan of the property.

General note

Morley W. Hogle (1870-1920) was born in Phillipsburg, PQ. He received his architectural training in Montreal in the office of Andrew T. Taylor (1850-1937). Huntly Ward Davis (1875-1952) was born in Montreal and studied architecture at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, graduating in 1898. He later apprenticed with A. T. Taylor in Montreal prior to Taylor's return to England.

Morley W. Hogle (1870-1920) est né à Phillipsburg (Québec). Il a reçu sa formation d'architecture à Montréal au cabinet de Andrew T. Taylor (1850-1937). Huntly Ward Davis (1875-1952) est né à Montréal et a étudié l'architecture au Massachusetts Institute of Technology où il a obtenu son diplôme en 1898. Il a ensuite été apprenti chez A. T. Taylor à Montréal, avant que celui-ci ne retourne en Angleterre.
