Charles Reginald Tetley was born in England in 1886. Tetley emigrated to Canada in 1907 and obtained a position in the Montreal office of George T. Hyde (in 1907-09) and later worked for Ross & MacFarlane. In 1913 he opened his own office in Montreal and maintained a successful practice for more than forty years. He was nominated as a Fellow of the Royal Inst. of British Architects in 1926 and held influential positions on the Westmount Architectural Commission and on the Advisory Board of Architects for the City of Outremont. Tetley retired from practice in 1957 and died in Montreal on 21 July 1960.
The drawings were donated to the CAC by Bruce Anderson.
Fond consists of 17 architectural drawings for Argyle School, Westmount, for the Protestant School Commission of the City of Westmount, 1934.
