Featherston Osler was born on January 4, 1838, in Newmarket, Upper Canada, the son of Rev. Featherstone Lake Osler (1805–1895) and Ellen Free Pickton (1806-1907), and brother of Sir Edmund Boyd Osler (1845–1924), M.P. and Dr. William Osler (1849–1919).,

He was a barrister. He was educated at local schools in Bond Head and Barrie, Ontario. He served in the law firm of James Patton in Toronto and was called to the bar in 1860. He was made a puisne judge of the Court of Common Pleas in 1879. In 1883, he was appointed Chief Justice of the Court of Appeal in Ontario. He retired from the Bench in 1910 and became president of the Toronto General Trusts Corporation. From 1921 to 1924, he served as a Treasurer of the Law Society of Ontario. In 1861, he married Emma Henrietta Smith (1839–1902). He died on January 16, 1924, in Toronto, Ontario.

Edith Elizabeth Lovett Smellie was born approximately 1866 in Glasgow, Scotland. She was a daughter of William Baillie Smellie and Maria Chipman Lovett. She died 12 December 1936 at her home at Rivers Cliff, a large home originally built by J. W. B. Rivers in Brockville in the 1880s.

Edwards, J. C.

J.C. Edwards, based in Los Angeles, was one of the largest breeders of Budgerigars in the United States. In 1928, he bred and sold approximately 15,000 young birds, which included many Blues, Blue-breds, Cobalts, Mauves, and other colour varieties. His breeding aviaries were large and spacious. While breeding Budgerigars was a business for J.C. Edwards, his hobby was breeding Finches and Lovebirds.

Edgeworth, Francis Henry, 1864-1943

Francis Henry Edgeworth was born on April 20, 1864, in Bristol, England.

He was a British physician who graduated from Cambridge University, earning his B.A. in 1887, his M.B. and B.C. in 1889, and his M.D. in 1908. Edgeworth pursued further studies in Paris and Göttingen, Germany, and began his medical practice in Clifton in 1898. In addition to his practice, he served as a Lecturer on Physiology at University College, Bristol, and later became the Emeritus Professor of Medicine at the same institution. He also worked at the Bristol Royal Infirmary and the Bristol Hospital for Sick Children and Women. During World War I, he served as a Major in the Royal Army Medical Corps at the 2nd Southern General Hospital from 1914 to 1919. Edgeworth was also a published author.

In 1897, he married Ethel Maud Usher (1869–1931). He died on January 14, 1943, in Bath, England.
