Two elaborate designs of handfinished cards. One features several layers of satin leaves and petals over a lace paper background. There is also a cut-out print of a cherub hoding peonies and other flowers and a cartouche reading 'Take a peep and you will see one that the World holds dear to me". The other design incoporates a cutout of an image representing a man playing a lute to a yound later in a pavillion. On top of this is a layer of cotton mesh. The borders are decorated with white lace paper, white feathers and green cotton cut-outs shaped like leaves. The card is also decorated with green and pink plush covered wire shaped and arranged to represent foliage and applied to the top and bottom of the card.
