He urges Jimmie to spend Christmas at Weston, and hopes that Osler will also come. He asks Jimmie to bring him specimens for his microscope. He suggest that Jimmie read "Handbook for the Physiological Laboratory" by Brunton Foster, Klein, and Sanderson. Osler showed him this book when he returned to Dundas from England.
