        History

        Patrick McGillycuddy Stoker was born on December 25, 1920, in Canada.

        He was a Montreal architect and a grandson of Bram Stoker's brother, making him a grand-nephew of the author of Dracula. A graduate of Selwyn House School, Bishop’s College School, and Upper Canada College, Paddy joined the Royal Canadian Air Force in 1942, during his studies of architecture at McGill University. He served overseas in the Yorkshire 6th Group bomber squadron. Returning to McGill, Paddy graduated in 1951 (B Arch) and went overseas for further study. He set up his architectural practice in 1952.

        He died on July 5, 2014, in Quebec, Canada.
