Exterior view photograph. Steel Industries Pavilion exterior (lot C-483). A ten storey high roof soared over the single storey pavilion themed "Might of Man". The pavilion showcased through it's exposed structure and building fabric the possibilities of steel contruction. Visitors were explored the experience of being in a steel mill as they were taken through three main exhibits entitled "Might of Fire", "Might of Mill" and "Might of Metal". The tour featured models, films and photographs telling the storey of steel. At the end of the tour was a 350 seat theatre whose show portrayed man's journey through the process of controlling elements. Rectangular plan with A-frame resulting in triangular elevation.
