        History

        Norman McLeod Yuile was born in 1878 or 1879, in Montreal, Quebec.

        He graduated from McGill University where he received his B.Sc. in 1899 and his M.Sc. in 1900. He joined Diamond Glass Co. in 1900 and became the general sales manager of the successor company Dominion Glass. In 1923, he joined Cassidy's Ltd. as vice-president. He was elected president in 1933 and continued in that office until his retirement in 1945. He was a member of the Board of Trade, an original member of the University Club of Montreal, a life member of the Montreal Amateur Athletic Association, the Whitlock Golf Club, and an honorary member of the Laurentian Lodge Club.

        He married Mabel Sclater. He died on November 6. 1964. In Montreal, Quebec.
