History

Arthur Eustace Morgan was born on July 26, 1886 in Bristol, England.

He was educated at University College, Bristol, and Trinity College, Dublin. He was the first Principal of University College Hull from 1926 to 1935. From September 1935 to May 1937, he served as the eighth Principal and Vice-Chancellor of McGill University. After leaving McGill, he returned to Britain. From 1941 to 1945, he held the position of Assistant Secretary of the Ministry of Labour and National Service.

He died on February 3, 1972, in England.
