Exterior view photograph. Mauritius Pavilion (lot C-419) exterior The tent-like structure of the Mauritius Pavilion is simple, yet attention grabbing. The one room exhibition space showcased the visual splendor of Mauritius. Central in the exhibition space was a topographic map of the island which is located off the east coast of Africa. Photographs and models of the landscape and it's exports, such as sugarcane dressed the exhibit walls. Circular one storey structure with conical roof. Central steel mast, columns and cables. Wood studs and plywood cladding. Vinyl coated nylon ("Facilon") (S: 30'6" radius --- A: 1600 sq. ft. --- H: 55' to top of mast)
