        History

        Reverend Alexander Wylie Mahon was born on November 6, 1855, in Nova Scotia, Canada.

        After studying at Dalhousie University, he became a student at Pine Hill Theological Seminary in Halifax. In 1893, he received his Bachelor of Divinity degree and he was ordained as a Presbyterian minister.

        In 1895, he married Flora Cameron Macleod. He died on August 3, 1930, in Toronto, Ontario.
