He sends a copy of "Devout Life" for Osler's sister (Chattie?). He had a copy of "Religio Medici" for Osler, but gave it away.

As Bovell is uncertain that he will get back to Canada during the year, he asks Osler to carefully pack his Microscopical Apparatus and Specimens. He offers Osler his surgical instruments and Stethoscopes, as well as his microscope stand and eye-pieces. He is very sad to leave the Weston school and Johnson behind, but he is busy with his research and must look after his family.

Letter to Charlotte (Chattie Osler from William Osler. While in London, Osler has visited with Harrison and Atwell Francis, and plans to drop in on the Boyds(?) with a piece of Chattie's wedding cake as an introduction. He asks after the family.

He enjoyed his visit with Osler, Mrs. Francis, Wood, Principal Dawson, Whiteve(?) and others in Montreal. He thanks Osler for the specimens he sent and sends his regards to Jimmie.
