Fonds consists of letters and accompanying reports from John J. Robson, Superintendent of the Royal Victoria Hospital, concerning staffing in the hospital and changes to bylaws. Also included is a letter from Dr. R. P. Boucher of Peterborough, ON, to Buller introducing Boucher’s friend Dr. Halliday.

Fonds contains the notebook kept by Walker Herbert Drury of his bacteriology laboratories while a student at McGill University, from 1906 to 1908, but mainly 1906.

Fonds shows Dr. Philip Franklin's relations and activities with Sir William Osler regarding the Post-Graduate Scheme in England and the American Hospital in England during WWI. The fonds contains letters, telegrams and an agenda and printed material regarding a meeting about the American Hospital.

The fonds contains original and typescript letters, manuscript notes, newspaper clippings, journal extracts, reminiscences and more, assembled by Harvey Cushing chiefly between 1920 and 1924 during the course of his research for the biography of William Osler. For the biography, Cushing collected and retyped over 7500 pieces of Osler's correspondence, among which are some original letters.

The fonds is separated into three series: Manuscripts, Working Notes and Osler's Correspondence. It also contains photographs, annual reports, publications, clippings, one watercolor painting, one postcard. Osler's correspondence is further arranged in three subseries based chronologically.

Fonds shows Thomas Gibson's interest in history of medicine. It contains papers on John Palmer Litchfield and on the General Council of Medical Education and Registration of Upper Canada. Dr. Gibson's notes on the translation of Theodore Turquet de Mayerne of the Opera Medica of Joseph Brown, ed. 1700. Correspondence.

Fonds documents Dr. Cecil O. Walsh's activities mainly as a medical student at McGill University but also during his service overseas as a medical officer with the CAMC during World War I. The fonds contains notebooks on Nutrition, Physiology, Histology, Clinical Microscopy, Bacteriology, Practical Zoology, Medical Jurisprudence, Clinical Medicine, Mental Diseases, Clinical Surgery and Hygiene; printed exams intructions and notes on duty at war.

Fonds consists of pamphlet entitled, “What to Eat to be Healthy” (Toronto: Canadian Medical Association and Canadian Life Insurance Officers Association, 1937), authored by Tisdall. Fonds also includes: typed letter signed from J. P. Crozer Griffith to Tisdall, Feb. 10, 1923, concerning a case on which Tisdall had consulted Griffith; autographed letter signed from Mrs. J. B. Gregory and Eliza J. Gregory, Aug. 2, 1920, agreeing to lease rental property to Tisdall; and autographed receipt signed from Mrs. J. B. Gregory acknowledging receipt of Tisdall’s rental payments.

The fonds consists of Dr. Harrison's journal of his travels through Europe studying Obstetrics and Gynecology from October 1937 to April 1938. A portion of the journal has been annotated by Dr. Fred Bryans in preparation for a talk he gave on Dr. Harrison in 1997 to the Osler Society of Vancouver.

Fonds documents R. Cameron Stewart's research circa 1937 on the history of the first vaccinations against smallpox in Canada. The fonds contains letters, notes, two baptismal certificates and a newspaper clipping.
