The one he had secured for the College of Physicians of Philadelphia came from the same place. Asks for a photo of it and for information. Comments on Langdon whom he found to be unreliable. Will send him a paper from one of his students on an important medical tablet. Mentions the Berlin Museum. Looking forward to R.C. Thompson's publication of medical incantation tablets in the British Museum. Will send him soon a copy of his new book "The Gentle Cynic". Details about it.

As executor he could only get hold of one or two copies of the book; and does not remember giving one to Osler, but says that it was a strong testimony of the high esteem he had for him. In the first edition, only Osler's name appeared while in the second edition both names appeared (Osler and McCrae). McCrae listed the articles produced by Osler in each volume.
