Letter to William Osler, December 23, 1912

Letter to William Osler from William Sydney Thayer, 406, Cathedral Street, Baltimore, Maryland, USA. Sends him a small copy of the medallion. Finds it good, although he thinks they have put his brother Ezra's nose. Season's greetings. Concerning Osler's request for paper for the historical section, he had offered a paper which he supposes is on the program on "The Study of the Renal Function." Instead of acceding to his request, he is asking him to take this paper off, because he expects to have been made chairman of the national committee in the USA and will not have time to read his paper. Mentions that despite of that, he will try to take part in the discussions. Civilities.
