The references to letters are to my 100+ black notebooks which constitute a kind of chronology and contain many HJ letters, many more than I used or published.” -- LE

[These materials were stacked in Edel’s mailing boxes with the material from Donald Brien and Edna Kenton. They include photocopied letters, transcripts of letters, etc. They have been kept together as a unit because of the possibility that they may have been collected and/or prepared by Brien.]
