It lists other military letters of E. D. Worthington as Acting Assistant Surgeon to the Imperial Forces in 1840-1. It is not signed and looks like a carbon copy. Typed.

Letter from Gunner, De Aar, S.A. to? He writes of his experiences in South Africa. Reference is made to Sir Charles Warren, Methuen and an unnamed colonel of whom he is very critical. At the top of the page is typed 'Canadian Staff Officer and Imperial Generals'. On the first sheet 'Norreys Worthington in S. Africa' has been written in red pencil. Typed.

The surgeon of the 5th Battalion of the Eastern township Militia in Canada writes concerning Dr. Worthington's leaving the village due to poor health. Also asks that if he is ever in Baltimore to look up Widow Nichols whose maiden name was Patterson. Handwritten.
