Letter to Fearnside from William Osler, 13, Norham Gardens, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Interested in what he says about the lumbar puncture. Will send it on to Ellis, as they have remarkable results at the Rockefeller, according to young Draper. Informs him that they are no fresh cases of meningitis at the Salisbury Camp and a few at Shorncliffe. Thanks for the Frostbite paper which they have many cases in Oxford and at Paignton. Details about the cases he saw. Mentions that the men are getting their nerves upset, with excessive use of bad tobacco.
