It is not unreasonable to ask that the tuberculosis work should be in the hands of special clinical officers who will devote their whole time. That is what the Association and the National Tuberculosis Society and the Parliamentary Commission all ask for.

Regarding their issue of May 15th where the article headed "Osler calls them Quacks". Not remembering anything on this matter, he has written to King who gave some explanations. The invitation for the banquet was for one done three years ago and in his reply, Osler never used the term "quacks". Mentions that he does not often correct newspapers statements, but he could not allow such a lie to be circulated without denial.
