Manuscripts of Published Articles

The subseries shows Dr. Arthur Vineberg's activities of publications of articles in medical periodicals and also as a collaborator in books, for the period from 1959 to 1975. Files are in chronological order. The subseries contains 29 files with drafts of articles, graphics, galley proof, working notes, correspondence and photographs.

Research Fellows and Research Assistants

Sub-series containing files on research fellows' works who came to work with or under Dr. Vineberg's supervision or information regarding them, including immigration information, CVs, submission of articles, thesis, seminar (files in alphabetical order). Includes notes, research works, photographs, x-rays, reprints, correspondence, memorandums, telegrams, curriculum vitae, forms, graphs, operations records, research seminar lecture, drafts, reports on master thesis, drafts of articles, newspaper clippings, copies of certificates, notice of termination, research project, manuscripts of papers, notebooks, slides, glass slides, postcard, thesis, microscope slides, fellow permit.

Visitors and Request to come as Research Fellows

Subseries consists of files regarding visiting doctors who came to learn how to do myocardial revascularization by arterial/ventricular implants, research fellows that wished to come work with Vineberg. Contains among other things correspondence and ledgers of visitors.

Reviews for Medical Serials

Sub-series contains one file which gathered book reviews, article reviews, editorials, letters written by Vineberg for medical serials, publication of medical associations, medical newspapers and publishers. Includes correspondence, reviews, drafts, newspaper clippings and copies of mss.

Travel Expense

Sub-series consists of two files of correspondence between Dr. Vineberg and his accountant regarding his travel expenses and one file about his Air Canada account. Includes statements, bills, correspondence and plane tickets.

St.Sauveur Clinic

The sub-series consists of 2 files on the St.Sauveur Clinic owned by Dr. Vineberg at the ski resort Mont Habitant in the Laurentides, North of Montreal. The ski resort was owned by his brother and his nephew. Includes correspondence, business card, leases, tenancy agreements, statements, bills, accidents reports, invoices, insurance policies, statement of income and expenses, reports of the clinic, inventory of supplies.

Gives info on the renovations, finances, medical info, instruments, medical, pharmaceutical supplies, insurances, electricity, oil, tax bills.

Research/special Funds Accounting

Sub-series contains seven files pertaining to the accounting of several special funds used by Vineberg. It gives a partial view of the special funds he had. The files are arranged in alphabetical order.

Includes correspondence, statements, invoices and memos.

The Christmas Shop

The sub-series consists of a file on the incorporation of a company called "The Christmas Shop Ltd - La Boutique de Noël Ltée" in which Dr. Vineberg, his wife and his stepson were involved. Includes correspondence, an application for incorporation and an affidavit.
