Card File. 1954 – 1998, 628.5 cm of 3" x 5" (7.5 cm x 12.5 cm) index cards describing every book owned and sold by Grant Woolmer giving description and price. Over 30,000 cards.
Catalogues. 1954 – 1998, 180 cm. Complete run of catalogues of Antique Book Shop, later Grant Woolmer Books. Over 400 different catalogues.
Financial Records. 1954 – 1998, 250 cm. 6 ledgers giving daily income and disbursements; invoices, etc.
Mailing list, undated, 5 cm. Some 200 names of institutions, dealers and private collectors mimeographed on 7 sheets.
Newspaper clippings and ephemera. 1980 –1998, 5 cm. File consisting of clippings and articles relating to the antiquarian book trade, as well obituaries of antiquarian book dealers and collectors. About 200 items.
Bates List Finder. 1980s – 1990s, 3 cm. Alphabetical telephone directory and addresses for frequently called numbers.
The collection consists of research materials accumulated by members of the Burney Centre between approximately the years 1960 and 2010. The research materials are chiefly photocopies of letters from Burney family members the originals of which are held in European and other North American libraries. There are also three boxes of microfilm of letters, newspapers, and other documents associated with the Burney family. The materials total thousands of photocopies and hundreds of microfilm reels which have brought together ten thousand letters scattered over numerous major collections (including the Berg Collection at the New York Public Library, the Beinecke Library at Yale University, the British Library, the Morgan Library, the Houghton Library at Harvard, and the Huntington Library).
Fonds consists of "spiritual testament" dedicated to his sisters, Lady Vavasor and Lady Ingram, written while Belasyse was a prisoner in the Tower of London.
