Most drafts are organized in folders by work.

It consists of correspondence, including rejection letters (Container 7, Files 17 and 24), published materials that do not reflect a direct research process, and notebooks used by Samuel. It also includes personal materials such as an astrological birth chart (Container 7, File 31), teaching materials (Container 7, Files 20-23). Series also includes notes on other writers’ drafts (Container 7, Files 26 and 28).
