Tells him that the histories and reports of cases of wounded, and the reports on the operations, are very good. The difficulty is that they are all filed away. Afraid that they are up against the Red Tape in the army, but he will send Adami's letter to Keogh. Suggests he write to the Lancet. Word about the climate in England. Mentions his talks to the soldiers on the general subject of health, and particularly about typhoid inoculation. Civilities.

Mentions that he wrote to Keogh suggesting that for the time, at any rate, all specimens should go to the College of Surgeons, where a committee of the Army Board could select suitable teaching specimens for Millbank. He urged him to send a memorandum to all the hospitals ordering the specimens to be sent to Lincolns Inn Fields. (Explanations from Adami, it was further re negotiations about the establishment of a War Museum.)
