This series contains several hundred files containing notes and records of meetings, symposia, conferences, and congresses attended by Gloor. At several of these Gloor presented the keynote address (the Berger Lecture, 1993, is a typical example of this type).

The fonds is divided into five main categories covering Pierre Gloor's activities as a researcher and administrator, 1950-1993. 1) Research, 1952-1993, including original studies, research materials in the form of slides, etc., and letters to scholarly journals; 2) Meetings, Symposia and Conferences, containing documents recording Gloor's presentations; 3) Lectures; 4) Correspondences with academics and institutions; and 5) Administrative, documenting Gloor's activities within the McGill University Faculty of Medicine, Montreal Neurological Institute, and Montreal Neurological Hospital.

Most of the papers in the Gloor fonds may be classified as documents of Gloor's various research interests and activities. The research category includes original studies, both those authored by Gloor alone and those co-authored with colleagues, and evaluations of other studies, and letters to research journals in the fields of basic and clinical neurology.
