The scrapbook has a blue cloth binding with silver and black borders and decorations as well as a center colour image of two children ice skating. Clippings come mostly from New Brunswick and Prince Edward Island newspapers, including the St. John Daily Telegraph, The Guardian (Charlottetown), The Weekly Patriot (Charlottetown), St. John Gazette, and the Halifax Chronicle, as well as some Toronto area papers, the Montreal Star, and Ottawa Citizen. One large clipping is from the Johannesburg Star. Many of the clippings are transcriptions of letters sent by Maude Bremner, as well as other fellow Canadian teachers in South Africa.
