He writes of seeing the skeleton donated to the university at Basel by Vesalius in 1542-3. He comments on the facilities of the Basel Hospital and University, and on a "model hospital" in Bern. He makes special mention of Prof. Langhans, Prof. Sahli, and Prof. Ross.
