Exterior view photograph. Haiti Pavilion exterior (lot C-423). Quebec Pavilion in background. The one storey Haiti Pavilion featured a modest, yet fun spirited design. Employing the use of color to convey emotion, the interior walls of the Haiti pavilion were painted in hues of orange. Fine tapestries and handicrafts on exhibit further decorated the pavilion's interior walls. Glass walls revealed the cheerful interior to visitors on the outside. Displays mounted on free standing panels exhibited sculptures and paintings that spoke about the culture and heritage of this "Terre de Soleil". Sixteen cubes of varying height on a rectangular plan. Structural steel and plywood roof cubes. Polished glass sealed with silicone and marine grade painted plywood. (S: 60' x 60' --- A: 3,600 sq. ft. --- H: 16')
