History

Endre Farkas is a Hungarian-Canadian poet and playwright, born in 1948 in Hajdunanas, Hungary. He immigrated to Quebec in 1956 with his parents, who were both Holocaust survivors. Throughout his life, Farkas has published a variety of poems and books, along with scripts and plays that he has performed in different cities across Canada. Farkas holds a master’s degree and has long been a CEGEP professor at John Abbott College in Sainte-Anne-de-Bellevue, where he currently resides.
