History

Walker Herbert Drury, from Barrie, Ontario, was educated at the Barrie Collegiate Institute. He was a schoolteacher for four years before studying for his M.D. He received his M.D., C.M. from McGill in 1909.

In 1909 he crossed the border to the US and in 1910 he and his family were residing in Pepin, Wisconsin, though he seems not to have been practicing. In 1921, he was practicing in Waterloo, Ontario. In 1922, he immigrated to the US and resided in Amery, Wisconsin, where he died in 1930.

He writes in Old McGill that he was born in 1880, but his gravestone and census records place his birth in 1877.
