Rev. James Burrows Davidson was born on June 16, 1838, in Ontario.

He was a clergyman, a rector of the parish in St. Armand East, Quebec. He is the author of “On Increase of the Episcopate, or a Divinely Constituted Ministry Upon the Apostolic and Primitive Basis: An Essay Read Before the Ruri-Decanal Meeting, Held at Waterloo, January 8th, 1868”.

He died on April 30, 1911, in Quebec.
