Five leading car manufacturers and their Canadian divisions: American Motors, General Motors, Ford Motor, Chrysler and Volvo, all contributed in the realization of the stadium. The stadium was designed so that it could be disassembled and resold as one unit or even several smalller stadia if so desired. Oval Stadium Poured in place concrete with steel shell.
