John Adams, M.A., served as a staff member or researcher at the Royal College of Science for Ireland in Dublin. He contributed short scientific papers and letters on natural history, botany, and biology, including observations on mites, botanical specimens like "vegetable balls", and Irish fungi (co-authored with G.H. Pethybridge). His recorded correspondence and articles in major international journals date prominently from 1904 through the 1910s.
