From 1901 until 1934, Frida Kruse taught the kindergarten class at Macdonald College Elementary School. In 1911 she became Director of the kindergarten, and also taught early childhood education at Macdonald College. She attended Columbia University in 1916 and passed away in 1934.
Ivoj Kristian Kudrnac was born on January 26, 1926, in Czechoslovakia.
He arrived in Canada in 1948 after fleeing communist Czechoslovakia along with his family. Once settled in Montreal, Kudrnac, a chemical engineer, found employment with Anachemia Canada, a manufacturer of specialty chemicals. Within a few years, he became the owner of Anachemia and under his leadership the company emerged as the largest Canadian owned supplier of chemicals and supplies to the laboratory market in North America.
He died on June 25, 2018.
