Sandford was a British book designer and publisher
George Stephen Sanderson was born on March 21, 1935, in Montreal, Quebec.
He was a Canadian editor, literary critic, and educator. He studied at McGill University and St. Francis Xavier University (B.A. in philosophy, 1958) in Antigonish, Nova Scotia, where he served as a Professor of Philosophy for 37 years. He was also an Editor-in-Chief of The Antigonish Review, credited with nurturing writing talent in Eastern Canada and publishing translations, book reviews, and review essays.
In 1960, he married Gertrude Kearns. He died on November 4, 2005, in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
Sanderson & Murray was a forwarding business with operations in Kingston, Montreal, and Bytown (Ottawa).
