This subseries consists of other research, writing, and correspondence files related to Wood's research and writing activities (1852-1925), writings of others assisting in Wood’s research projects or written about Wood (1936-1943), and volumes containing multiple publications by Casey Wood from 1852-1943, but predominantly 1920-1938. Some of these volumes include writings of other authors as well. The subseries is composed mostly of publications, manuscripts, and correspondence, along with photographs, clippings, book dust covers, feathers from John III, and printed materials pertaining largely to ornithology, falconry, and Wood's research.
Included in this subseries are 661 incoming and outgoing correspondence (1914, 1927, 1933-1940) including letters, postcards, and telegrams. This series consists of 23 volumes and 6 files focusing on travel, research, and expedition activities conducted during Casey Wood's ornithological research trips from 1920-1937, including periodical and newspaper publications written by Wood during this time. This series consists of manuscripts and articles relating to letters to friends and family providing accounts of his travels, clippings, photographs, printed ephemera, photostats, artwork, and feathers from John III. Some of the volumes contain manuscripts, notes, and/or photostats, while others are scrapbooks containing multiple record types seemingly curated, arranged and mounted by Wood or as directed by him.
Within this series are 209 incoming and outgoing correspondence including letters, notes and cards. Individuals in correspondence with Wood include Cora Raymond, G. R. Lomer, E. V. There are also a number of photostats of publications or manuscripts copied approximately in 1937 related to Emperor Frederick II’s “de Arte Venandi cum Avibus.” These photostats were used for reference during these research trips for Casey A. Wood and F. Marjorie Fyfe’s published translation “The Art of Falconry.”

This fonds comprises of the research work of C.A. Brodie-Brockwell. It consists of unpublished manuscripts and notes on early Mediterranean cultures and civilisation, pre-Christian Hebrew, Semitic and Arabian culture, as well as investigations into early calendars and methods of counting (boxes 1- 6, and box 7, files 1-8, 10). Other files include: hand-drawn maps of peoples of Europe in different times (box 7, file 9); lecture named “A New Interpretation of the Parable of the So-Called Unjust Steward” (box 7, file 11); correspondence (box7, file 12); dictionary notebook (box 7, File 13).

The binders with manuscripts are arranged by subjects, discerned from their titles and content.

The collection consists of fifteen volumes, primarily manuscript with some printed, containing over 1,300 culinary and medical handwritten recipes, plus numerous loose recipes also mainly manuscript. The documents in the collection originated chiefly from the Doncaster area of South Yorkshire, centred on Hooten Pagnell Hall. Many of the manuscripts and notes are signed by or addressed to Sarah Anne Warde. Series 1 comprises the fifteen bound volumes, two of which are printed works by female authors, while the remaining thirteen are manuscript notebooks. Two of these manuscript notebooks are attributed to Sarah Anne Warde, while one is attributed to Eliza Smithson. The manuscript attributed to Eliza Smithson contains table setting riddles (also known as an enigmatical bill of fare). Loose recipes are found in Series 2. This series consists of approximately 300 culinary, medical, and household recipes dating from roughly the 1780s through the 1850s.

The fonds consists of a bound manuscript "Athletics at McGill" by R. Tait McKenzie

The fonds consist of a variety of textual materials created by Andrew Pyper such as published and unpublished materials, early creative writing works, story-outlines, drafts, agendas and diaries. The fonds also contains personal correspondence between Pyper and his publishers, editors, friends and fans. The collection includes working scripts for television and film adaptations of his novels. The photographic material mainly consist of Pyper’s early childhood in Stratford, time at McGill University, travels to the Yukon and Brazil, and living in Toronto.

The fonds contains materials that Dr. M. Entin collected for his biography of Dr. Archibald. Mainly include articles relate to tuberculosis, pancreatitis, wound healing, history of surgery, and scientific writing. It also includes letters from Edward Archibald to Mrs. Archibald, letters to Archibald from William Osler and Sir Henry Gray, addenda of Archibald's world journey in 1936, and articles by Archibald.

Some draft chapters of the biography of Dr. Archibald and research data for 100th Anniversary of Royal Victoria Hospital can also be found in the fonds.

The fonds contains Margaret Gillett's source materials and drafts for her book Dear Grace, a Romance of History. The source materials include original letters from William C. Little to Grace Ritchie written between 1889-1893.

Fonds documents Dr. H.E. MacDermot's medical-historical activities. The fonds contains newspaper clippings, manuscript notes, photographs, lectures notes, and a draft of The MGH, the Years of Change.

Fonds consists of the personal and professional papers of Louis and Irene Kon including extensive correspondence between the Kon family. Included are materials relating to the founding of the Norman Bethune Foundation and Bethune memorials; the making of Ted Allan's movie, "Making of a Hero", including the conflict with Syd Gordon regarding creative differences; a manuscript draft and notes on Larry Stephenson's manuscript 'Two Petrals.'
