Collection shows Dr. J.C. Simpson's interest in Charles Robert Darwin (1809-1882). His collection of Darwiniana contains newspaper clippings, dinner programs and menus, programs of commemoration of the Darwin Centenary in England, correspondence and photographs.

Wedding and anniversary clippings and ephemera, including invitations, place cards, and some decorations. Events represented include the 50th wedding anniversary of Edward Pelham Winslow and Alice Spragge (22 October 1934), the wedding of Alice Winslow-Spragge to Robert Palmer Howard (16 July 1938), the wedding of Anne Virginia Winslow-Spragge to Donald Newton Byers (24 June 1939), and the death of Alice Spragge (28 February 1950).

Includes Winslow's resignation letter from Ingersoll-Rand following health issues, material related to a volunteer position he took with the Canadian Wartime Bureau of Technical Personnel, congratulations from when he was awarded the OBE, and an obituary.

Edward S. Winslow correspondence and drafts regarding Winslow's involvement in the Canadian Manufacturer's Association and Ingersoll-Rand's wartime contracts with the Canadian and British governments.
