Fonds comprised of two envelopes addressed to Mr. Alex Sherman, Plum Hollow, Ontario , postmarked March 27, 1912 and February 26, 1913, and containing promotional advertisement materials for Bodi-Tone medicine. Included are "cured" patient testimonials, details on how to mail-order a box of Bodi-Tone medicine, and a signed letter from Bodi-Tone President, Sidney S. David. Fonds also includes purchase the receipt from Alexander Books, Ancaster, Ontario.

The fonds consists primarily of letters written during World War I to Drake's sister Daisy Molson and sister's husband, John Dunham Molson. Letters are accompanied by transcriptions and biographical material prepared by Martha E. McKenna. Also included are newspaper clippings dated 1915-1918 on Drake and the Canadian Army Medical Corps hospital run by McGill, one pocket notebook documenting Drake's time with the CAMC in France from 1915-1916, and a membership card to the Royal Club for Ladies from Beyond the Seas, dated 1919.

Charlotte Ferencz Fonds

The fonds reflects Dr. Ferencz's friendship with the physician Harold N. Segall from the early 1960s until his death in 1990. It contains letters, cards, and postcards Dr. Ferencz received from Dr. Segall, as well as photographs of Dr. Segall and ephemera relating to the Segall-Gross lectures and various celebrations of Dr. Segall's life.

Isadore B. Hirshberg Fonds

Fonds consists of photographs and other items that document the early career of Isadore Hirshberg while studying medicine at McGill University from 1909-1914, including 60 album-sized photographs, a framed group photograph of Hirshberg and Montreal General Hospital residents, Hirshberg's framed provincial medical certificate, and two certificates of residency. Subjects include Hirshberg and classmates; campus and student life; photographs of staff, doctors, and nurses in hospital settings, including two photographs of John McCrae at the Alexandra Hospital; and various views of McGill medical buildings and hospitals, including the new medical building at the time of construction in 1910, the Royal Victoria Hospital around 1910, and the Western Hospital in 1913. Two photographs features the medical school janitor James "King" Cook, a fixture of the school and a favorite with the students from the late 19th through the early 20th centuries. His wife was Frank Buller's housekeeper during Osler's time. Fonds also includes a large framed group photograph, Resident Medical Staff/Montreal General Hospital/1914-1915 by Wm. Notman & Son and Hirshberg's Quebec medical license issued by the College of Physicians and Surgeons of Quebec and dated July 1914. Descriptions of the photographs where present are in Hirshberg's hand except in cases in which there were additional descriptions in the album. These were copied in pencil on the verso of the related photograph.

The fonds consists of two bound volumes of notes on Endocrinology (some handwritten, some typed) from 1938-1939 and 1941-1942 while Masson was a PhD candidate at McGill University. Lectures given by: J. S. L. Browne, H. Selye, D. L. Thomson, C. F. Denstedt, C. Lyman Duff, C. P. Leblond, D. McEachern, R. L. Noble. Also included are three volumes of published works.

The fonds also consists of three bound volumes of Masson's published work from various medical journals (published in France, Canada, and USA) between 1932-1959. The articles are mostly in English, and some are in French.

John MacKellar Fonds

The fonds consists of a single 3-page manuscript letter document. Original laid paper watermarked '1805'. Letter is from John MacKellar, dated 16 June 1807. The letter is addressed to the Hon. George Cranfield Berkeley (1753-1818). MacKellar explains his strong reservations about establishing a prison hospital for sick prisoners of war. He warns of high expenses and inconvenience, using the Dartmouth, Nova Scotia, hospital as an example of the expenses required.

Melville Island, in Halifax, Nova Scotia, was formerly known as Kavanagh's Island and used to house French prisoners of war after 1793. The Chesapeake Affair happened six days after this letter was written in 1807 under the command of Admiral G. C. Berkeley.

Cecil Percy Martin Fonds

The fonds consists of three scrapbooks, and textual records that include obituaries and letters written in memory of C. P. Martin by McGill faculty and former students, index cards of C. P. Martin's religious reflections on the bible, typed and handwritten sermons, C. P. Martin's nature journal, a copy of Francis Shepherd Memorial Lectures 1953-1956, and some letter correspondence. Two of the scrapbooks document C. P. Martin's personal family life (including family trees depicting five generations, his leisurely interests etc.) and his professional life at McGill, with many newspaper clippings about McGill University and faculty. The other scrapbook contains mostly British Medical Journal clippings (1942-1954).

The collection consists of documents pertaining to Dr. H. S. Birkett's medical activities, including 117 bound volumes of patient records (1889-1942), medical notebooks (1893-1896), bound RVH reports (1894-1938), RVH charts (1901-1920) and registers (1899-1917). There are also various letters addressed to Mr. and Mrs. Birkett, a manuscript, newspaper clippings, various degrees and medical association certificates, as well as photographs of H. S. Birkett's personal life and professional life at McGill and elsewhere. The collection also includes various artifacts collected by H. S. B, including military and medical memorabilia collected by H. S. Birkett.
