The fonds contains professional and person records created or compiled by Arvind Sharma, divided into 7 series:

The fonds contain textual material such as correspondence, unpublished and published material, notes, research and teaching material, as well as photographs of Sharma and acquaintances. It also contains visual and audio recordings of Sharma from events in addition to objects having belonged to Sharma.

The fonds consists of documents, VHS, DVDs, and audio recordings relevant to the professional history of Dr. Douglas John Hall. The scope covers the period from 1949 to 2008, and includes Dr. Hall’s unpublished notes and manuscripts of his lectures, sermons, and seminars, published articles, published and unpublished book manuscripts, as well as recordings of lectures and talks. His lecture and sermon manuscripts cover the period from his undergraduate degree in 1949 to 2008, and published journal articles from 1969 to 2008.

The fonds consists of documents relating to Macdonald’s publications and professional activities outside the classroom both prior to and during his tenure at McGill and for various professional associations. The scope covers the period of 1976 to 2012 and includes: articles, essays, and speeches (both draft, final and off-print) and their assorted documentation (travel itinerary, correspondence, conference notes, and research).

The fonds is divided into four series which were imposed by the archivist. The first is Publications which relates to any of Macdonald’s published material. The second is Professional Activities which is composed mainly of speeches and conference notes and materials. The third is Publications and Professional Activities which encompasses any professional activity which was subsequently published or vice versa. The last is Course Materials.

The fonds consists of documents, photographs and audio media relevant to the professional history of Dr. Hans Möller. The scope predominately covers the period of 1980 to 1997 and includes Dr. Möller’s published works, personal and professional correspondence, research articles, and documents related to his professional activities and associations within and outside McGill University.

The fonds consists of documents and photographs relevant to the history of the NAJC, particularly as regards the 1988 redress by the Canadian government. The scope predominately covers the period from 1987 to 1989, and includes correspondence, census data, briefs, minutes, surveys, and internal newsletters.

The Dawson-Harrington Families Fonds follows the family of Sir John William Dawson, geologist and Principal of McGill University from 1855-1893, through four generations, including both personal and scientific papers of John William Dawson, his son-in law, B. J. Harrington, and his son, explorer, geologist, and Director of the Geological Survey George Mercer Dawson. Other family members include James Dawson, father to Sir John William Dawson, a Scots immigrant to Nova Scotia, printer, stationer, unsuccessful investor and zealous Presbyterian; John William's wife Margaret Mercer; their children William Bell Dawson, an engineer, Rankine Dawson, a physician, and Anna Lois Dawson. Also represented are Anna Dawson Harrington and B. J. Harrington's children, Eva Dawson and her husband, Hope Atkin, and their families
