Indenture of Edward Worthington to James Douglas. It outlines the terms of E.D.W.'s apprenticeship to be taught and instructed in profession of Physician and Surgeon. City of Quebec". It is signed by Josiah Hunt. At the bottom of the last leaf there is a note by Douglas, 1840 regarding the completion of the apprenticeship. It is complete with seal. Item 4/65 attached to 1st leaf. Handwritten.

Certificate issued by the Royal Infirmary, Edinburgh to Edward D. Worthington stating that he had an Annual ticket for the hospital dated 1st Nov. 1841-1st Nov. 1842 and that he signed the Album for nine periods. It is signed by A. McDougall. Handwritten.

Excerpt from the Minutes of the College of Surgeons. On Sept. 24, a letter from a Robert Henry Russell is read. On Feb. 3 Worthington's application is recommended by the President's Council and unanimously granted. Handwritten.
