Sketchbook

The first of two Edinburgh student notebooks belonging to Edward Dagge Worthington. It consists mainly of pencil caricatures. This volume contains a drawing of Dr. Robertson of Montreal, one of Knox (labelled by E.D.W.) and two of himself. The location of the sketches has been indicated by W. W. Francis's tabs. There are also pages of notes on such things as definitions, courses taken, and a list of baggage. Handwritten.

Photograph

A black and white, head and shoulders photo of Dr. Worthington. It is mounted on cardboard with gold lettering at the bottom "Presby 111 Wellington St., Sherbrooke, Que.". Dr. Worthington has been written in pencil across the bottom. Notes made by W. W. Francis are on the verso.

A negative of the caricature of Dr. Robertson made from item 1/1 and contained in item 1/6.

Letter

Letter from F. G. Hoyloak, Leicester to Col. Worthington on the letterhead of the Canadian Ex-Servicemen's Association of Great Britain. Hoyloak thanks Worthington for his gift to the Association. Typed.

Newspaper Clipping

Newspaper clipping from the Record(?) entitled "A well deserved promotion". Dr. A. N. Worthington has the rank of Colonel bestowed upon him. It refers to his rescue of the priest at Batoche in the Northwest rebellion and the South African campaign. Printed.
