Membership

This series contains material representing a core activity of the fraternal association: member recruitment and management. Welcome packages, membership cards, member records, and recruitment manuals and documentation are featured significantly in this series. Recruitment was often conducted by volunteers during Highland Games, golf tournaments, and folk festivals, and at malls, banquets, and pub nights.

Display manuals

File consists of two copies of Display Manual, which provides recruiters instructors on how to set up their display of promotional materials.

Recruitment and promotional handouts

File contains promotional handouts for distribution to potential members. Materials consist of folders with informational brochures and, in later versions, application for social membership.

Insurance records

Series consists chiefly of financial ledgers with details about insurance policyholders and payments. Contains records related to both adult and juvenile policies, ordered chronologically. Earliest ledger dates from 1939. Series also contains miscellaneous files including insurance premium payments receipts from 2006-2007, monthly reports from 2005 and 2006, and correspondence regarding insurance.
