English doll made by Norah Wellings of a black comedian. Stuffed, with glass eyes. Dresses in velveteen costume of orange & brown with large orange hat. approximately 1930.
Bisque doll of a young girl, dressed in dark red satin trimmed with lace and beads in the style of the 1880s. Straw hat, inset blue glass eyes, blonde wig with long braids. Bisque arms and legs with painted black boots. Probably German. One foot broken.
