Letter to the president of Johns Hopkins University from William Osler, Oxford, Oxfordshire, England. Osler informs the President of the University that the Toronto General Trust Company will hand over to the University securities a yearly sum of $1500 to $2000 from Osler and Lady Osler as a memorial to their son, Edward Revere Osler, in recognition of the happy years he spent in Baltimore. Osler enumerated the ways in which he would like the memorial money to be spent.

After the burning of the Library of the University of Louvain, August 25, 1914, an International Committee was organized by the Institut de France, with additional help from the John Ryland's Library and the British Academy. It is possible that Osler was involved in the project through either the British Academy or the John Ryland's Library.
