Ginda Kalujna Rosenblatt Fonds

The fonds contains papers relating to Dr. Rosenblatt's time in the army, including assignments, certificates of appointment, billets for lodging, railway tickets, an attestation of medical ability, and other documents. Also included are the boards (front and back covers) from Dr. Rosenblatt's daybook, which have, on the inside cover, a list of ailments and the drugs used to treat them.

The fonds contains Dr. Jacques' journal of medical accounts receivable entered in an account book issued with blank pages and bound in half suede with green cloth boards. The account book was kept between November 1879 and January 1881. A title handwritten on a paper label on the cover reads "Journal pour 1879-1880-1881." The author's full name comes from within the journal (L. A. George Jacques, M. D.) and from Lovell's Montreal directory for 1881-1882 (Louis A. George Jacques, M. D.). Laid in at p. 207 is an ink blotter featuring pharmaceutical advertising for Glyco-Heroin (Smith).

The fonds shows W. G. Henry's activities as a medical student at the Toronto School of Medicine and then at the Faculty of Medicine, McGill University, from 1878-1883. The material consists of 18 printed cards made out in writing to W. G. Henry: 6 from the Toronto School of Medicine for the sessions 1878-79 and 1879-80 (1 proof of registration/lecture programme card, 5 admission tickets); 6 from the University of McGill College or Faculty of Medicine, 1880-1882 (4 admission tickets, a certification card, an initialed dissection examination card); 5 certification cards from the Montreal General Hospital, 1881-1883; an admission tickets for the "University Dispensary" (undated).

The fonds consists primarily of letters written during World War I to Drake's sister Daisy Molson and sister's husband, John Dunham Molson. Letters are accompanied by transcriptions and biographical material prepared by Martha E. McKenna. Also included are newspaper clippings dated 1915-1918 on Drake and the Canadian Army Medical Corps hospital run by McGill, one pocket notebook documenting Drake's time with the CAMC in France from 1915-1916, and a membership card to the Royal Club for Ladies from Beyond the Seas, dated 1919.

Joseph Stratford Fonds

The fonds consists of professional correspondence between J. G. Stratford and colleagues from the MGH, Montreal Neurological Institute, University of Saskatchewan, and the Osler Society. It also includes personal research material on pain (the causes and treatments), original drafts of his various publications (1953-2007), Montreal General Hospital daily journals (1966-1998), and some patient files (1943-1972, file 33). Stratford's bachelors, masters, and medical degrees from McGill University, as well as various professional certificates awarded to Stratford throughout his career are included in the fonds. Additional items include portraits and group photographs from the Neurological Department at Saskatchewan and the Montreal Neurological Institute, several brain scan prints, architectural blueprints of the Montreal General Hospital and Montreal Neurological Institute, as well as letters between Joseph & Aurelie Stratford and their close friends, Wilder & Helen Penfield.
