Fonds shows H.R. Griffith's papers and records pertaining to his introduction of the homeopathic remedy curare into anesthesia. The fonds contains correspondence, case records, and reprints, as well as the minute book of the Montreal Homoeopathic Association, 1863-1968.
Fonds documents George Drummond's medical education in Edinburgh, 1821-1826. The fonds contains an indenture between Drummond and his master in surgery and pharmacy, admission cards and certificates of attendance.
The fonds contains correspondence concerning a dinner in honour of Sir William Osler at the University Club, New York, organized by Beverly Chew, M. Taylor Pyne, Edward G. Kennedy, William Augustus White, Frederick R. Halsey and Ernest Dressel North in 1913. The fonds includes 74 original letters. E.D. North managed the correspondence for the event, which included numerous bibliophiles.
The fonds documents Edward P. Hurd's activities as a medical student at McGill, 1861-1867. The fonds contains lecture notes, notebooks and certificates.
Ross compiled most of these papers as a Governor of McGill University and particularly with fund raising campaigns in 1911 and the Centennial Campaign of 1921. There is a scrapbook on the 1911 campaign and a volume containing plans for the 1920-1921 campaign. Included are addresses given to church groups, 1922-1940 and a general business letterbook, 1912-1916. There is also a file of correspondence relating to the search for a Principal in 1935.
The Lafleur fonds comprises of twelve certificates and diplomas (1876-1887) relating to his education and teaching positions, seven manuscript poems (1903-1909), and a letter announcing his appointment as an Assistant Professor in the Department of Logic, Rhetoric and English at McGill University (1886).
Jacob's correspondence concerning the Montreal Parliamentary Society, 1889-1895, and the erection of a memorial to Sir John A. Macdonald, 1891-1895, includes letters from Lord Strathcona, Wilfred Laurier, Charles Tupper, George Stephens and others. A few brief personal notes include letters from Lord Strathcona and Robert Borden.
The minute books of annual meetings deal with social events, programmes, financial affairs, furnishing of various rooms in Strathcona Hall and various guest speakers. There is also a very brief minute book of the Executive, 1902-1914.

The files of the Women's War Register Committee contain minutes and memoranda on the establishment of the Committee, lists of registered women, correspondence with analogous groups, with potential employers, and with individual women, memoranda regarding employers or liaison with other bodies engaged in war work, some accounts and invoices, and newspaper clippings about women's work in war-time.
