Series B contains correspondence between Dr. McNaughton and other professionals, as well as obituaries and newspaper clippings.

Films

Series reflects the Vinberg's film projects and records related to audiovisual production (including a slide show about the history and evolution of coronary bypass surgery.Contains drafts scripts, correspondence, manuscript notes, films, lists, flyer, one agreement of use, telegrams, business card, notes, sales tax and custom exemption certificate, fact sheet, photograph, pencil sketches, newspaper clipping, catalog, consent forms, sketching of scenarios. Includes shots of Vineberg operation, shots of a heart beating, files from a French-Canadian co-production from a pharmaceutical laboratory, a film of Vineberg showing his operation,
and the film "Myocardial Revascularization - Vineberg Procedure", projected at Expo 1968 and which won a Golden Eagle Award in 1967 at the Sao Paulo Festival (IV International Exhibition of the Scientific Film of Brazil).

Correspondence – American, Canadian, British and South African associations of Scientific Workers

Series C contains Dr. Elliott’s correspondence relating to his involvement with American, Canadian, British and South African associations of scientific workers. This series includes newspaper clippings, research notes, drafts and typescripts of speeches and publications for the various associations. This series is comprised of 25 files (nos. 51 to 75).

Teaching files, 1903-1982

Series E contains course seminar notes, copies of exams, lectures notes and correspondence. Dr. Elliott’s recommendations for students and colleagues and his academic certificates and awards are included in this series. Correspondence relating to Dr. Elliott’s visits to certain countries to teach is also included. This sub-series is comprised of 22 files (nos. 146 to 180).

Subject Files, 1934-1981

Series A contains correspondence, newspaper clippings, research and teaching materiel, photographs and drafts of work from Dr. McNaughton’s association with McGill University, the Montreal Neurological Institute, the Royal Victoria Hospital, the Neuro Musical International, and various professional associations. Of special importance are the biographical files pertaining to Dr. Wilder Penfield. A large portion of this series is devoted to the study of headaches including drafts of works on this topic.

Jefferson Lewis

This series contains notes, drafts, research files, and correspondence pertaining to the funding, research, writing, and publication of Something Hidden and its spin-off film concerning Dr. Penfield’s life and work. This series is divided into four subseries: correspondence, research files, manuscript drafts, and memorabilia. The bulk of this section is various drafts of Something Hidden. Some primary material of the Penfields is interfiled with material in this series, presumably consulted in the preparation and editing of various portions of the manuscript.

Series consists primarily of records related to Royal Victoria Hospital department of cardiac surgery, medical board, employees, and directors. Also contains records related to Royal Edward Chest Hospital, Mount Sinai Hospital, Queen Mary Veterans Hospital, Ships' Pilots examinations, Department of Veterans Affairs, Institute of Cardiology, Jewish General Hospital, and records related to serving a legal expert in trials.
