Illustrations of the Affinity of the Latin Language to the Gaelic, or Celtic of Scotland, and to the language spoken in the county of Glengarry, Upper Canada.

Short handwritten study on the similarities between the gaelic and latin languages that attempts to discover which is older and the source of the other, and to apply these findings to history. Includes a long list of latin words that the author argues are of gaelic origin. Given to the Natural History Society by Thomas Stratton, the author.
