He says that the New York Sun misquoted him (article published May15th). He says that in his speech, on sectarian medicine, they invited Osler to attend their banquet, but he replied saying virtually that the homeopaths were quacks and had nothing to do with the modern school of scientific medicine. He also sent him a copy of this letter Osler sent in May 1905. King said to the reporter that Osler did not use the term quacks.
