Letter to Professor A.R.(?) Cushing from E.W. Bligh, Bligh & Co., 29 Hallam Street, Portland Place, London, England. Bligh points out an error on p. 616 of volume II of Harvey Cushing's "Life of Sir William Osler" regarding a rare manuscript purchased by Osler in 1915. Dr. Francis offered to have the passage in question removed when the book is next reprinted.

Letter to Harvey Cushing

Letter to Harvey Cushing from Ernest A. Baker, School of Librarianship, University of London, London, England. Baker never knew of Osler's scheme for a "College of the Book." Includes manuscript notes.

Letter to Harvey Cushing, March 7, 1921

Letter to Harvey Cushing from Thomas Archibald Malloch, 45, Tanistock Square, London, England. Malloch sent the typewritten list of additions to Miss Blogg's bibliography. He does not know more of the story of Osler chopping Mrs. Gwyn's finger. Osler had mentioned the bear-in-the-raspberry-patch incident to him. He suggests that Cushing consult Mrs. Gwyn concerning these two stories. Lady Osler had told Malloch's father the story of Osler's record breaking cricket ball toss.

Malloch, Thomas Archibald, 1887-1953
